Meet Asha, a Wadi dog from the country of Oman she is 6 years old and weighs approx. 45lbs. She was rescued along with some of my brothers and sisters at a very young age and spent most of my life in shelters. One of her favorite hobbies is climbing on big rocks and just sitting and observing her surroundings. She loves to run around on warm sunny days in the summer and has a blast playing in the snow during winter.
Asha quite shy meeting new people and when in new situations, but given a little time and patience, you will gain her trust and she won't want to leave your side. She can also be a bit picky with making new dog friends, but once she gets to know them better she has a blast playing.
Asha would do best in a quiet, low activity home where she can learn to feel safe. She likes to live life on the slow side, simply relaxing most of the day.
Fast Friends adopts in the New England area. If you are interested in Asha or one of our other available dogs, please complete an adoption application at http://www.helpinggreyhounds.org/adopt.
