This handsome 3 year old lab/pointer mix that was adopted as a puppy. He is an amazing house trained, crate trained, dog friendly boy. His family was so sad to let him go, and he was so sad to see them leave. He cried the first day and now every time he enters the yard he peaks out the gate to see if they have returned.
His family did everything they could to help Ono get used to their active toddler but sadly, Ono is afraid of him. All the fast movements and loud noises that kids make scare Ono. Now as the family welcomes their 2nd beautiful baby into the world they feel that Ono will not live his best life. We had to agree and we are ready to help Ono find another loving family that doesn't have kids in their home. We know that this guy was truly loved and we are sure he will find that love again.
Welcome Ono, and we look forward to sharing more about this guy while he stays with our foster.
He is UTD on his vaccinations, is microchipped, dewormed, and neutered.

We will do our best to respond to any and all requests and contacts as soon as possible, but we are a 100% volunteer run rescue. It is great because that means we can keep our adoption prices low because we are not paying salaries, but all of our volunteers do have families and "real" jobs in order to support our passion of saving animals from euthanasia often just days or hours before they are scheduled to be put to sleep. That being said, one of us are going to do our best to contact via email or by phone within 24 hours of any inquiry. It is not uncommon that when you have made the decision to add to your family and committing to adopting a rescue dog that you are very excited, we just ask that you be patient with us.
