Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Fiona is a spunky little 3-year-old, 13-pound Cairn Terrier/Schnauzer mix. (You can see the Schnauzer in her face and her length.) This girl has "family dog" written all over her. She loves-LOVES-people. If you are sitting, whether on the couch, at the dining table, or on the toilet, she will be right there on your lap or at your feet looking up at you with those soulful eyes wanting to be petted.
Fiona is just the right amount of kissy--enough so that you know you're loved, but not so much that you get a thorough face wash every time she sits on your lap. She's particularly fond of rubbing noses.
Fiona loves to play. She lives in a house with 5 other dogs, including a 75-pound shepherd, and she gets along with everybody. She would be very happy as an only dog, however, as that way all the attention and affection would go to her. She likes to play with chew toys and empty plastic food containers.
Fiona has her manners well intact. She only barks if she hears something that's a threat to the house. She is non-destructive (except for empty toilet paper rolls, paper plates and tissues left lying around.
She is a dog, after all.) She is house-trained, but as with any dog, expect accidents at first while she gets used to her new environment.
Fiona was found wandering the streets in very rough shape, but it didn't take very long for some TLC and veterinary care to turn her into a happy, healthy dog.
Fiona would be happiest with multiple people to love. She's not a good fit for small children because she's still young and every now again gets a little mouthy. But she'd be great with older kids. She would fit well into either an apartment or a house--anywhere there are people to love.
