Hi Everyone,
My name is Tony the Terrific and I’m a lover and a keeper! I’m an adorable three-year-old Bichon mix, weighing about 12 pounds, who looks up at you with big brown eyes and an expression that says I love you. Mom says I’m a sweet and very cuddly boy who is eager to please and loves nothing more than to snuggle as close as I can. (I also give lots of doggy kisses.) Mom says I’m affectionate, very good-natured and always have a smile on my cute little face too (especially when I get belly rubs!) More on that later!
Before I became a Furkid, I didn’t have toys or enough to eat or a family that took care of me. So one day I ended up at a scary, noisy place called a shelter. Even though I had a rough beginning, my loving nature still came shining through. That’s why, when my BFK Auntie walked by, I did all I could to make her see that behind my matted dirty hair, I had so much love to give (And guess what! it worked and I became a furkid.) Now I have a wonderful foster home with a Mom who loves me back. I get good food and treats and have a couple of doggy foster brothers to show me the ropes.
Mom is teaching me commands (like ‘sit’) and says I’m a quick learner as I really want to please. She says there are lots of other things I can learn too so I’m hoping you will want to teach me? I’ll be the very best student you’ll ever meet!
Each day for me is filled with new experiences. I get to go for long walks (they are the best!!) am learning to ride in the car, and of course, this thing called playing is brand new to me too. Whether it’s the backyard, doggie park, sleeping in the Big People’s Bed, all of these are new experiences and I embrace everyone. I’m also trying to figure out what to do with toys (You see, I haven’t had them before). Best of all Mom has also taught me to appreciate the value of a good belly rub — and believe me, that’s a very good thing!

Last but not least, I’m a loyal companion, a champion kisser and an amazing cuddler. I will make you smile at how cute and happy I am and how much I love my people! Mom says I am a sweetheart who needs a family of my own that I can entertain, love and adore and who will love and adore me back.
So if you are looking for a companion who likes to go for walks and have adventures, who wants to cuddle and snuggle regularly – and if you can give great belly rubs, I may be your guy! Just ask for Tony and I will be waiting to meet you.
