Rocco (b. 12/2018) is very smart, Terrier mix, weighing in at about 40 lbs. He is cautious of new people, but that changes after spending some quality time together. His perfect home will have no other dogs as he isn't a fan of sharing his toys and food, no young childdren, and a fenced yard. Rocco is kennel trained. His adopter will need to be dedicated to working with him on his fears. He is great with feline friends!
If this pet is not spayed or neutered at the time of adoption due to limited vetting availability, a voucher will be given to the adopter for a free spay/neuter procedure at Val Verde Animal Hospital. Spay/neuters completed elsewhere will be reimbursed $80/dog or $55/cat once proof of alteration has been received by Muddy Paws. Alterations are REQUIRED for all Muddy Paws adoptions. The adoption contract states alters must be done within ONE month of the adoption date or the adopter will be in breach of the contract. Adopters are required to provide proof of alteration to Muddy Paws Rescue immediately following the procedure. Thank you in advance for your compliance.
The suggested adoption donation for Rocco is $415 which is TAX DEDUCTIBLE, and goes toward providing supportive services to animals in the home, as well as the high cost of vetting our dogs in rescue. If you would like to welcome Rocco into your home, please begin by submitting our adoption application. The adoptions for all of our dogs will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver the dogs.
