My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Bonnie is a real sweetheart and getting along just fine. She is house trained and pretty good on the leash if her foster brother is walking with her to keep her moving along and not getting distracted and trying to chase every squirrel. Her temperament is complete snuggler and lover girl Basset. She has been sleeping with her human sister and enjoys playing with her toys. She is good with Rambo and our kitty cat is keeping his usual safe distance. She did take off after him across the backyard, I'm thinking she was previously bonded with the resident cat, so for the time being, I would recommend a household with no cats, or outdoor cat(s) only.  Someone who is gonna spoil her and has a playful younger or young at heart resident dog will be ideal or if no resident a family where people are home during the day. She will make a great family dog with children or frequent visits of grandchildren. She travels well and enjoys her chewies and playing with her toys. She bays and would be a good contender for the Basset shuffle howling contest!
