Hiya friends!! I’m SKYLAR and boy o boy am I glad to have left the shelter to find my forever home! I love sitting on the laps of my humans and I get along with other dogs. I'm just a happy fun loving gal who will win your heart because I'm so awesome and full of joy! I do need a home with a fenced in yard to play in, no condos or apartments for me thanks!
Here’s what my foster mom says about me:
“The family that adopts Skylar will forever have smiles on their faces. She is one great little lady. Her morning routine is as follows: wake-up, gives 1000 kisses, then she starts her exercises …. at the speed of light it’s up the stairs, down the stairs, up the stairs, down the stairs, say good morning to everyone in the family, up the stairs, down the stairs. She already got herself a part-time job as security for the neighbourhood. The job requires her to lay on the back of the couch and look out the window. Unfortunately, she will probably get fired because she’s been known to fall asleep on the job. This little lady would do great in a home with a little fur brother or sister. She doesn’t have a problem being left at home alone for a few hours during the day. As Skylar is small, she will definitely require a ‘parka’ and a fashionable ‘toque’ for the colder months because she starts shaking when the temperature drops below 20 degrees. She sleeps straight through the night in her fancy crate but I’m sure she wouldn’t have a problem sleeping with you in your bed. Skylar will fill your days with love and kisses and all she asks for in return is love and kisses right back.”

All new pet parents will receive 6 weeks complimentary Pet Secure Accident and Illness Protection for any dog adopted from Just Paws. Once activated, the trial will cover veterinary bills up to $500.00 for accidents or illnesses, excluding pre-existing conditions.
