My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We love our Luna to the “moon” and back so we need to find her a special home that best meets her needs. First and foremost, Luna needs a patient home.

Luna is guessed to be a 1-year-old Cattle Dog mix weighing 30#. Luna spent her entire life outside in a filthy pen. Dogs are all she has ever known. With dogs, Luna is confident, playful, and just like any ordinary pup. Playmate required.

With people, Luna is timid and unsure. Presently, she is not motivated by and does not seek affection, but will tolerate pets and cuddles. Luna grows more confident each day, but still has a ways to go. She prefers to be around older children who can respect and understand her body language if and when she is scared.

Luna does not walk well on a leash (but we’re working on it) so she requires a fenced yard. She is crate and house trained.
