My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lady Madonna is ready for adoption. She went back to Chenal Valley Vet yesterday, where she had delivered her pups, and all that was missing was the paparazzi! Everyone said she looked so good and she got lots of kisses and treats! She has been an amazing momma even though she is still a puppy herself, feeding her pups for three and a half weeks, but it’s official, they are weaned and mom is ready for her forever home!

She is a rat terrier mix, 30 pounds, around 8 to 9 months old, and just wants to be loved. She follows her foster mom everywhere and snuggles on the couch and puts her head on her shoulder and falls asleep. She is not completely potty trained, but if her foster mom is paying attention she can tell when Lady M wants to go out. She is a dream on a leash because she just wants to be with her person. She is very protective of her puppies and has been isolated so we don’t know if she’s good with dogs, cats, men, etc., but she’s young and can learn with slow proper intros. The puppies had stayed home when she went to the vet, and she was gentle and affectionate with everyone there. She is heartworm positive but LCA will treat her when she is stronger.
