Hi, I’m Lemon! I’m a nine-ish-year-old ADORABLE Chihuahua looking for my life partner. If you didn’t guess already, I was adorned the name Lemon because I am SO sweet! I am also tiny (with a mighty spirit I might add!) and at just three pounds, I am the perfect purse pooch. Trust I do not say this lightly because I absolutely PAWSitively LOVE palling around with my person!! I ride in bike baskets, sit perfectly well behaved in over-the-shoulder carriers, and of course love the plush interiors I can lounge in even better. I am used to going everywhere with my foster parents, which is the type of forever home I most desire. I get anxious when I am home alone but being with my person gives me a great amount of comfort. I have no behavioral issues and get along well with other dogs, but I am definitely a girl who likes to be with her person most. I offer my companionship and gentle nature in return for our outings together. I am so well-behaved my foster mum even brings me with her to work sometimes. The only complaint I ever hear is that I’m a picky eater (um, sorry!) …oh, and I can be a little vocal when I’m trying to tell you what I want, but these are typical things of the Chi-nature. I was so sad when I found myself at the shelter, and to be honest, even before that because I had some dental issues and a hernia that caused me problems. I curled myself up in a tight little ball and stayed in the corner of my cage at the shelter because I didn’t have much hope left. But that’s all changed now! I was spayed (hallelujah!), and had a dental and the hernia fixed, but just as importantly, I’ve been shown what love looks like. Getting to hang out everyday with people who adore me is the absolute best and I can’t wait to experience that type of love in a forever home. If you are looking for the tiniest, sweetest, most loyal of companions who you want to bring everywhere with you, then we should meet!
