My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Queen of the Castle CLAIRE! As soon as we learned about this sweet girl who was dumped at a South Florida shelter, our volunteers raced to her rescue. We noticed immediately that poor Claire was in need of some serious attention. Clair went straight to the groomers and to the vet for intake medical evaluation. Claire has been treated for some dry eye and ear infections that cause her to be a bit sensitive around her ears. Claire already up-to-date on vaccinations and is spayed, but needs to lose a few pounds to be in perfect shape. Claire is a happy and vocal girl, who insists on getting her way. So it's important that her forever home provides her with patience and consistency in her continued training and structure.

Claire is a 7 years old lovable fluffy marshmallow! She’s affectionate, sweet and she loves to ask for belly rubs and kisses. She also enjoys snuggling on the couch and the bed. Claire-Bear was quick to let us know that she loves to play, especially fetch. She’s been soaking up every ounce of attention and love she’s been getting. 

Claire will need a fully fenced yard, but no doggie doors for her as Claire is an avid hunter and must be watched at all times when outside. Claire would do best in a home with older children only. She prefers to be queen, she'd do best an only dog, and no cats in the home.

Claire's adoption fee is $400.
