Hi there. My name is Tammy. I grew up in a house with two toddlers. I don't really understand why but the man took me and my brother and mama to the vet and told her to have us put to sleep. Paw here at Marley's World dog sanctuary took us home. He says, "I kept waiting for some behavioral problem to emerge to explain why her former owner did not want her anymore but none ever emerged. She is about as close to a perfect dog as I've ever had."
I am two years old, been spayed, had all my shots, tested for heartworm and found clear and placed on preventative. I weigh 56 lbs soakin wet. If you watch my video you will see that I have great leash and basic obedience skills, get along with all my foster siblings and even the cat. I'm just a little shy when I first meet someone but a few soft words, pats and maybe a couple of cookies are all it takes and every day I grow more confident. Paw says I have the makings of a therapy dog and we have certainly had a lot of dogs from here go to earn certificates.
