Hi! My name is Meera and I am IN SOUTH KOREA waiting to be matched to a home in America! I was rescued from the dog meat trade in South Korea by the DoVE Project. My fate would have been to live in fear and distress, watching dog after dog being led to slaughter for human consumption - until it was my turn... DoVE Project heard about me and now I am in search of my forever home!
I'm a Terrier mix, approximately 7 months old (DOB 3/28/19). Right now, I am only 26 pounds. Full grown, I'll probably be about 35 - 45 lbs. I have had a really rough start to life, but luckily now I am safe and sound. We make great house dogs but also enjoy romps in nature. I would love going to dog parks with you, on hikes, and on trips to the beach! I just want to be your best friend.
I'm up to date with my shots and love playing with my puppy friends. Even though I was born in horrific conditions, I hold no grudges. I'm ready to jump into your arms and heart with unconditional love. My tail is always wagging and my heart is open to the kindness of strangers. I can't wait to feel safe and loved with my forever family. I'm healthy, happy, and loving pup. I hope I can meet you very soon!
Most of our dogs are still in South Korea waiting to be matched with an adopter before making the long flight from Korea to America. If the dog's name says "In LA" after their name, they are in LA in a foster home. We are a foster home based rescue and have no physical facility to visit.
