My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DJ's mom came into our program as an emaciated, heartworm-positive stray. We knew it would take something of a miracle for little Lady Madonna, much less her pups, to survive but survive--and thrive!--she did, as well as every one of the eight pups in her litter. They are now six weeks old and ready to be adopted into new forever homes on October 20. They are about to be vaccinated, but will not be sterilized until they are 5-6 months old. Lady Madonna is a rat terrier mix and is on the small side but of course we don't know about the father(s)! To be safe it is probably wise to assume the puppies will be in the 50 pound range when fully grown.
