Welcome Olive to CCPAL. She is a 5-month old Plott Hound/Staffordshire Terrier mix. She has the most amazing light blue eyes. She came from the Animal Control in Sinton, Texas. She was pulled by her foster mom and the very next day the shelter euthanized the entire population. We are honored and thrilled they all made it out and that we can find their forever home. Olive has a bindle coat and she is a little more mellow and smaller than her sister Sable. She already weighs 35 pounds and her feet are big still so she should be a 50 pound dog is our guess. She has the nice short coat with lower shedding. She is active but not over the top and loves to play and romp with other dogs. She is pretty good on the leash and good in a crate. We would love a person that has another dog or enough time for a larger pup. She is willing to learn and eager to please. She is in a home with a family and would make a great family companion. She would be good around kids. She is currently in Texas in a foster home with a family that has other dogs, cats and teenagers. We can adopt Sable locally or transport her to the Washington area, all along the East Coast or to Wisconsin, Minnesota or Vermont. Her adoption fee is 200 and transport is 185.
