My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

THIS IS A COURTESY POST. TO INQUIRE ABOUT SKIPPER WRITE TO ADOPTSKIPPERTHECHI@GMAIL.COM. SKIPPER IS NOT WITH ALL DOG RESCUE.

Precious, playful, shy but happy chihuahua looking for loving home. Skipper is a charming little fellow who is 3-5 years old, and weighs just 6 pounds. He has gorgeous amber-colored eyes and has a scrappy look with his notched left ear. He acts very puppyish and is a hilarious companion, with his antics (tossing his toys, weaving around your body like a cat, running after a ball). He would do best with another dog in the home since he takes his cues from them. He would love a little canine playmate who would help him understand good doggy behaviors. Skipper is a very affectionate cuddly boy (and loves sleeping under the covers) but needs a little time to warm up to new people. He loves car rides and settles immediately, he is an excellent eater, and he rarely barks. Almost completely housetrained, but will need continued structure to ensure success. He is healthy, neutered, and up to date on shots. Like many small dogs he has a luxating patella (shaky kneecap) which may or may not need surgery in the future. He is fine going for walks, but is still getting used to walking on-leash. His foster family adores him and would like to see him in a home where he is not alone all day long. He is too fragile for little kids, but older gentle children would be OK. He is a true gem, and his new home will be lucky to have him. Skipper is being fostered in Cambridge and his adoption fee will be $300.
