My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful tortoise cat has had a rough go of it and yet she is still so sweet and just longs to be with people! She was found abandoned and obviously injured. She was taken in and cared for by a kind-hearted guardian angel that took her to the vet. It was determined she was likely hit by a car and suffered an injury to her spine consistent with damage to the nerve that controls bladder/bowel function, leaving her with urinary & fecal incontinence. Her paralyzed tail was surgically removed to prevent further injury & aid in keeping her clean. Any future change in this condition is unlikely, so she needs a special soul to care for her. She is very easily handled and super friendly. Her current foster says she is super affectionate and very content when she is around people. Valentina is very amenable living in a confined area. Her current setup is near a window and she's quite content birdwatching and snoozing in the sunlight. Valentina is about 6 years old, weighs approx 8lbs, is spayed, UTD on all vaccines and is otherwise healthy. Her injury does not affect her ability to run, jump, climb or play.

Valentina deserves a second chance at a happy forever home. If you are interested in being the savior to this beautiful, special needs kitty, please contact adoptions@paws-li.org or go to our FB page or call the number
