My story

Hello
My name is Penelope and I am somewhere between 4 and 6 years old.
My story starts being found at a glider port hiding under a picnic table. I was embarrassed at the shape of my hair coat that was once gorgeous. What hair I did have was now tangled with sticks and debris. The rescue came and picked me up and my new foster mom shaved me bald except for my head. I had skin issues going on that was treated for a few months. The vet gave me all my vaccinations, heartworm checked me (negative), and I was outfitted with a brand-new microchip.
You can see in my new glamour shots; my hair is coming back, and it is looking gorgeous! As you can tell in the pictures, I never had braces as a young pup. My teeth and that smile make me just that much more adorable.
I enjoy people and have a very quiet, sweet personality. I love being a lap dog. Most days you can find me sitting with my foster mom on the couch. I live with small kids and several dogs currently. My foster mom thinks my hearing is not the greatest, but I do just fine. I walk on the leash or a harness.
I do not like using puppy pads. If you don’t take me outside to potty, then I will just potty where I want. Yes, this cute little face can be that sassy.
I am spayed, micro chipped, heartworm negative and up to date on vaccinations. My adoption fee covers transport from Tennessee and a health certificate to travel with.
