Hi! My name is Pierre! I was found in pretty bad shape by a good samaritan who took me to the nice people at Pet Angels Rescue. There, I was fed, they removed all the itchy fleas, and I had a safe, soft place to lay my head. Now I’m hanging out with my foster family until I find my forever home. When I started to get healthy, my little legs couldn't keep up with my growth spurt. So I started walking funny because I was "knuckling over." But I wore a splint for awhile, did some hydrotherapy, and ate a careful diet. Now, I'm all better! I’m getting really strong and I’m told I am a pretty special little pup. Since we don’t know who my mom and dad are, my friends at the rescue have to guess what I’m going to grow up to be. Their best guess is a pit mix. I’m okay with that cause I hear those dogs are very loving and loyal to their families. At my foster home, I LOVE hanging out with the entire family! I also LOVE to play with all the big dogs there! I’m not nearly as big and strong as they are, but sometimes they let me win a game of tug-of-war. I like to sleep in my crate at night and I don’t make a peep or have accidents all night (humans like to sleep!). I’m doing really well with my potty training too. I haven’t started chewing on things here because I have so many cool dog toys to choose from! I cannot wait to find my forever home with a family of my very own.
All Pet Angels puppies are infused with extra love and cuddles. They need to be taught all those good things that puppies need to learn in order to grow up to be good dogs. A puppy is a project but there is nothing these little ones would love more than to grow up in a loving home. Your puppy will go home with age appropriate vaccinations and other medical care listed below. Please remember that the puppy will likely require extra vet appointments with your vet until they are fully vaccinated with 4 sets of booster vaccines, and have a negative fecal exam.
The adoption fee is $150.This dog has had its age appropriate vaccinations brought up to date with rabies shot (4 m & older), heartworm tested (4 m & older) and/or started on prevention, basic dewormer, spayed or neutered and microchipped by 24Petwatch with free registration , and also comes with 30 days of free 24Petwatch Pet Insurance .
Important PLEASE read if interested in adoption:
We have a pretty open adoption policy, apartments, unfenced yards, and young kids are okay, but only if the pet you are interested in is a good fit for that situation!!! Some dogs may require a fence of a certain type and height, due to safety, the breed or known history. We are looking for pet parents that provide vet care such as routine vaccines for their pets and heartworm prevention for dogs. Please understand we do cross check vet references and landowners/landlord policies and cannot process applications with incomplete or incorrect information.
We asked that you take your newly adopted dog for a vet exam in the first 30 days to establish with your vet and obtain their heartworm prevention prescriptions and have a fecal exam administered as some pets may need additional de-wormers after leaving our care.
