My story

Sasha is simply awesome. She arrived at the rescue very young, and has been here for many years, most of her life. Despite this, she is a very happy, sweet, and friendly girl, who loves to have fun. Sasha enjoys every minute of her people time, loves cuddling, gives the sweetest little kisses, and plays cutely with toys. She also gets along very well with other dogs, and has made some great friends with several of our other long time residents, especially Forrest, Dreamy, and Scarlett.

Sasha is strikingly beautiful and unique. You will not find another dog that looks like her. Probably a Shih Tzu/Terrier mix, she is about 9 1/2 years old and about 12 pounds. Sasha is one amazing girl, with the energy and spirit of a young pup, who brings lots of smiles to everyone she is with. It would be fantastic for her to be adopted with one of her buddies mentioned above, but not mandatory. If you believe you are a great match for Sasha, please put in an application today. We have an adoption contract that must be completed and approved. We require vet and personal references as well home checks. Our normal response time is approximately 7 to 10 working days. Our Adoption Committee works very hard to place our dogs in environments where they will be most likely to succeed. Please understand that we have more applications than we do dogs and that if you do not hear from us within that timeframe, we currently do not have a dog who we feel would match your needs.

Our fee includes neuter or spay, all shots, and snap test for heartworm/erlichia/lyme. We take care of whatever their medical needs might be before they are adopted.

WE DO NOT SHIP OR ADOPT OUT OF THE SOUTH FLORIDA AREA.
