Hi, my name is Tessa. I am a 2 -year old, 10-pound white (with a bit of black) miniature poodle/Terrier mix. I am super friendly. I love people, really love attention and I beg nicely for treats. I was found as a stray and we searched for my owners’, but no one came to claim me. These nice rescue folks took me in.

Right now, I live with 3 other small dogs. 2 females and 1 male. The male dog and I get along great, but I am not too crazy about the female dogs. I love my people so much and I’m not crazy about sharing the attention.

My favorite activities are snuggling on the couch with my foster mom, getting my belly rubbed and taking naps with foster mom. I also love to explore and run around the yard, but I always need supervision when outside. I am small with white fur so coyotes, eagles and other critters could easily think I am a rabbit!

I am not house-trained but my foster mom and I have been working hard on that. I am doing really well. I sleep on a dog bed in the bedroom at night and I don’t have any accidents overnight. I still need some training though, so please be patient with me. I am trying my hardest I promise.

I am looking for my forever home. Do you have room for me? I promise to love you for my whole life. But I am not disposable. I am looking for someone to cherish me forever too. My ideal forever home will be as an only dog or maybe with another male dog. Phoenix area adopters only please!
