Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chella is a 55 pound 2-year-old Shepherd mix. Chella is a 63 pound 2-year-old Shepherd mix. Chella is a bit timid when first greeting new folks and she may not be good around cats. Chella ’s owners/family moved out of state due to financial hardship and left their 5 dogs (2 shepherd mixes & 3 chihuahuas) for neighbors to re-home. Chella is seeking a forever home ...one filled with love, affection and proper care for her. Right now Chella is living in a boarding kennel and she is very confused by the sound and noise we would love to see her find a foerver home. Chella was living with Aldo and thinks it would be amazing if she could come along with him to his new home!

Adoption is a lifetime commitment. After an application and a verbal interview is completed and it is determined that the adoption is a compatible match, a contract is signed with specific guidelines. An adoption fee (usually between $250-$500) to help off-set medical, feeding and Rescue costs is collected. The contract states that at any time the adoption does not work out, the dog is to be returned to our Rescue group for alternate placement. The dog is not to be 'given away' or 'rehomed' or 'taken to the pound'. If there are other dogs in the home, they must meet prior to adoption. All family members in the household have to agree to the adoption. No dog is to be adopted as a 'gift'. No out of state adoptions.

Help A Dog Smile is a 501c3 non-profit Arizona corporation and member of PACC911. We are a group of volunteers who all have regular, full time jobs. We are passionate about helping the dogs entrusted to our care and will strive to find the perfect home for each dog. 100% of the funds received goes directly to the medical care of the dogs rescued.
