Hey there, I’m Laney! I am a gentle, loving puppy who is looking for my forever home. I haven’t had the best start to life, I was found as a stray and brought into the South Los Angeles Shelter where I put in isolation due to my “weird gait”. Luckily for me my friends at the rescue came to the shelter rescued me and took me to the vet where they found out that my growth plate was broken in the elbow, and that I also had bad hips and ligaments due to genetics. I had Surgery on both of my front elbows, and have been healing really well! The Dr. wants to wait until I’m full grown until they address my back hips, but I get around just fine and it doesn’t really bother me.
I am a ten month old German shepherd mix and weigh approximately 50 pounds. I’m pretty close to full grown I may have a little bit more growing to do but not much. My friends at the rescue think I’ll probably be 50-65 pounds, but unfortunately they don’t know for sure. I am unaltered due to the Dr. wanting me to have the hormones for my hips until I’m fully grown, I’m up to date on my vaccinations, and I have been microchipped.
