Meet Sissy! Sadly, she was an owner surrender to an animal shelter and when they contacted ATDR, we immediately opened our hearts and arms to her! This sweet senior girl was obviously the beloved lap dog of an elderly person, who sadly couldn’t afford to give her good veterinary care! Sissy will no longer suffer neglect…after losing numerous teeth and having an ear infection cleared up, this little grey lady has gotten a some hip back in her step!

Sissy’s foster mom reports that if taken out regularly, she is house broken! She enjoys sleeping in a warm crate at night but just wants to hang out on your lap otherwise. She eats canned food due to her lack of many teeth and is otherwise doing very well!
