BINDI is a happy, healthy 3 yr old Catahoula terrier mix dog looking for a forever family to love.
She has a precious demeanor and loves all people. She would sit with you on the sofa all day if you let her.
When she’s not sitting with you she is incredibly playful, full of good energy and would make a great hiking partner.
Bindi will happily greet you and all people with kisses and tail wags.
A true companion for a person, couple or family with older children.
She would not harm young children, just might knock them over with her exuberance.
Bindi knows commands like sitting and staying before going in or out of a door and before eating.
An owner who would continue to reinforce those boundaries with her would be good.
Always happy to eat and likes her maze feeding bowl to slow her down.
100% house trained and crate trained.
Not destructive in any way in the house, even shoes have been safe.
Loves toys, bones and tug of war.
She needs some space to run and play, but does not like to be outside alone because she wants to be with her people.
With regular daily exercise, she walks nicely on leash.
She does not need loud correction because it scares her; she takes appropriate correction.
Not a big barker, but will bark to alert you if she hears something that is not a normal noise.
Bindi is a healthy girl and takes Apoquel for seasonal allergies. (might not be needed outside of Texas)
She likes a grain free seafood diet to keep her skin nice and helathy. Teeth are in perfect shape.
She is a happy, young spirited gal who deserves a forever family who wants to spend time with her and to simply love her.

Selective about her doggie friends, so a home without other dogs will only be considered. (although she does live with another dog in her foster home and plays well with him)
She has not been cat tested, but probably best to be in a home without cats.

Bindi is 40 lbs. spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, including rabies, heartworm negative and on preventative.
