My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sugar was rescued from a local shelter with an urgent plea that she was hit by a car and had a broken pelvis. Maxx & Me sprang into action and immediately took her to the vet and she is all healed up now!! She is 3 years old, 42 pounds and a ridgeback mix. She loves to cuddle; she will sleep next to you or on you for hours! She loves toys and being outside. She's also very smart and is learning to walk on a leash without pulling, how to sit, and how to stay. She still chases cats because she wants to play with them, but she is not showing any aggressive signs. She gets along with some dogs but is protective of her house and the people she loves so much so best as an only dog. This sweet girl is spayed, is up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Her adoption donation is only $200. Sugar is ready for her forever home!

Maxx & Me is an all volunteer, all foster home rescue and do not have a shelter. Please allow at least 48 hours for applications to be processed (missing information may slow the process, so please take your time and be thoughtful in your answers). All dogs posted are available (so no need to ask). We place dogs based on best home for each dog and not order of applications received.
