My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MAXX & ME PET RESCUE adoptable dogs

Hula Girl

Of all the #BuffettBabies, Hula was the standout in several ways… first, she’s the only tan one. Even more obviously, she was the feistiest of the group, bar none! Hula thinks all dogs want to play all the time and she won’t hear of anything different! She’s a rough and tumble puppy who just knows everyone loves her so she doesn’t need to temper her antics… they’ll get over it!

In a forever home, Hula needs a fenced yard and will need a strong doggie presence to help her learn when to r*e*l*a*x and just b*e. She LOVES soaking up the sun, exploring outside, and would make a great companion for folks who do as well. Since these precious pups were never introduced to the indoors prior to coming to us a month ago, they’re still learning about certain aspects of life as a pet. They love to be loved on but also do so completely awkwardly. We keep pumping them up with Stuart Smalley-type affirmations : “I deserve good things!” ; “I am entitled to my share of happiness.” ; “I’m good enough. I’m smart enough. Doggone it, people like me!” And they’re starting to listen!

Hula is just a girl, sure she’s cute and lovable and fun to be around, looking for a family to tell her she’s absolutely right! Apps for Hula @maxxandme.org

adoption fee is $400

All puppies adopted from Maxx&Me require proof of puppy training classes within the first six months
