My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We're supposed to be a dog rescue, but we keep finding kittens roaming in fields, living under houses, etc. Squiggles and Cuddles are female grey tabby cats with white legs and tummies about 5 months old. One of our volunteers worked for weeks to coax them out from under the porch where they were living. We thought they were going to be feral cats, but darned if they didn’t start following Foster Kittymom around the house purring, and now they’re happy and independent kittens.

Squiggles and Cuddles live in a foster home with 11 cats and 4 dogs—including dog 85-pound dog—and they get along with EVERYONE! They’re independent kittens and not out to love on their human all the time, but they love to sneak up on Foster Kittydad while he’s sleeping and curl up into him for a little cat nap.

When it’s time to play, they like to bounce about the room with catnip toys, hide in boxes and jump out to scare the bejesus out of passersby, and chase each other—and the dogs—around the house.

These kittens have never been outdoors and are trained as indoor cats. They use the little box 100% of the time. At night, they snuggle up in bed beside Foster Kittymom (and her 11 other cats, plus the occasional dog) and sleep soundly.

Squiggles and Cuddles would do equally well as family pets or companions to a single person.

Both kittens have been neutered, have all their shots, have been microchipped, and have been tested for feline leukemia and other kitty diseases (negative on all counts).

Because we want to find them homes while they are still kittens, we are offering a special adoption fee of $50 per kitten—much less than what it cost us to vet each of them. We will verify with your vet that you’ve taken good care of your other animals, and we reserve the right to do a home visit.
