His name is Petey. He was an owner surrender by a family who could no longer care for him. Petey is a handsome great pyrenees/dutch shepherd mix. He is a young adult at about one year old and weighs approximately 60 pounds. He is already neutered! His long fluffy coat is golden with black striping. He has friendly brown eyes. He is very well mannered. He does not jump up on you. He walks very well on leash and does not pull. He came from a home with a small dog and he appears to be fine with the other dogs at the shelter. According to his previous owner he is housebroken, loves toys, playing with balls and is good with children. What an awesome family dog!!

We must have commitment before close of business on the first Wednesday after the availability date. ******If you are interested in this Pet, please call Polk County Animal Control at 770-749-8908 or email jcrawford@polkga.org ****Adoption fee for dogs is only $40. This facility only accepts Checks, Money Orders or Credit/Debit Cards. They do NOT accept Cash. You will sign a contract stating you will get your new pet spayed/neutered and a rabies vaccine by a specified date. **** Upon adoption, adopters are required to fill out a rabies and sterilization contract.****
