My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Did you know?

FurKids Midwest has a Seniors for Seniors adoption program. It was developed to help senior humans discover or rediscover the joys of having a pet in their lives. The program places senior pets (typically over 8 years of age) with senior citizens who are 60 years of age or older and the adoption fee is waived.

Meet Moon!

Moon is a sweet, healthy, affectionate senior cat who came to us when her human passed away. She has something she'd like to say to all of our friends:

"Hi there! I'm Moon. I was surrendered because my owner passed away and now I'm looking for a new home."

"I'm quite shy at first and it will take a few days for me to warm up to new people. I LOVE to just hang out, cuddle and pretty much just hang out. I LOVE high spaces and would like a quiet home with a little spot of sunshine to take my cat naps. I get along fine with other cats and dogs. I would do well in a home with older children that are at least 8 years of age."

Will you give Moon a place to call home?
