Karla is a 5 year old, black German Shepherd mix. She is exceptionally smart and does amazingly well with her training. Karla will need a kind, committed, confident and active person who can channel her energy and drive and allow her to be the magnificent friend we know she is. She is a lean 50 pounds.
Here is the tricky part - Karla does not like strangers, and sometimes other dogs. Karla takes a long time to warm up, and as such she cannot go home with just anyone. She is protective of her people, so she will need a home where this is respected. An experienced dog owner is a must. Shepherd experience is a plus.
