My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are interested in CLARK or in adopting a pup in general, the first step is an adoption application. Download an adoption application here
Please email the completed application to katiev.woofriver@gmail.com
Please submit an application rather than an inquiry with no application attached.

CLARK and his brother Kent are two handsome young boys looking for a home where they can grow (not too much) into fine gentlemen. Some of CLARKS’s favorite activities include snacks, snuggles, belly rubs of course, learning new things, and yawning real big. If he holds his face close to yours when he yawns, you can get a whiff of that sweet, sweet puppy breath. You’ll want to bottle it up into a perfume. CLARK and his brother were born on September 23, 2019, so they’re still bite-sized pups, eager to learn about the world. These two were lucky enough to stay together with mom for the first few weeks of their lives, reaping the benefits of being a family unit during that crucial developmental period. They are now in individual foster homes with other resident dogs, learning proper doggie manners and etiquette. For a puppy, CLARK has become incredibly well house-trained. He and his brother both mastered the doggie door with ease. CLARK and Kent’s may be adorable brothers, but that doesn’t mean they agree on everything. CLARK finds Meryl Streep to be the greatest actress of all time, while Kent believes her to be overused and overrated - lacking the edginess of his favorite Frances McDormand. CLARK will stay up each night to watch Jimmy Fallon and his guests play charades, while Kent binge watches Game of Thrones. If they can agree on one thing, it’s that they’re extremely excited to be chosen as an addition to your home.

CLARK and Kent may NOT be adopted together! Woof River does not allow litter mates to be adopted into the same home.

CLARK is microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations including 2 rounds of both the H3N2 and H3N8 canine influenza vaccinations.
His $340 adoption fee includes the cost of transport to Nashville after he is officially adopted.

Please email the completed application to katiev.woofriver@gmail.com. It typically takes us around 5 BUSINESS DAYS to process an application. We will reach out to you as soon as your application is processed. Thank you in advance for your patience.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our Nashville, Knoxville and some New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com). We also use Pet Express Tupelo (https://petexpresstupelo.wordpress.com/). For our Midwest adopters, we have our own private transport (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
