Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name: Harper
Breed: Boxer
Sex: Female
Age: 4 Years
Current Weight: 46 lbs.
Before OMD: Found in an abandoned home with her sister, OMD's Bertie (adopted), and brought to the shelter while cruelty charges against their owner were pursued.
Favorite Day: Tongue Out Tuesday!
Favorite Hashtag: #SunsOutTonguesOut
Energy Level: Medium High. Time and space to burn energy is a must, but she's happy to lay down for a snuggle after a good zoomie session.
Best Feature: We hate to keep harp(er)-ing on this (ha!) but it's undoubtedly that tongue!
Our favorite thing: Her velvety fur. Softest. Dog. Ever.
Descriptors: Happy. Content. Playful. Silly.
What we love: Her looks and personality make us smile all the time.
Secret Talent: Sleeping! Even the vacuum can't wake this girl when she's out.
Working on: Four on the floor. She jumps when she's happy. She jumps to say hello. She jumps when she plays. She's a jumper but she's getting the hang of things.
Dogs: For sure! Her fur foster sister is her bestie and she would love a playful dog sibling in her forever home.
Cats: We can't say for certain. Our guess is playful and potentially annoying but not aggressive.
Kids: Dog-savvy and 8+ please!
Housebroken: Yup!
Crate Trained: Yes and must continue! Harper is a mischief maker when given free roam and left to her own devices.
Harper is vaccinated, spayed, heartworm negative and microchipped. She is available for adoption to residents of CT and surrounding states. If you are interested in adopting, please apply at omdrescue.org.
