PIPER is a 4 year old beautiful black lab. She is sweet and affectionate and very smart. She is also blind and has a seizure disorder. Piper very quickly learns her surroundings so she can move around safely. She is friendly to other dogs and cats, and enjoys tossing a ball to herself and shaking her soft toy vigorously. She is a master countersurfer and chow hound, so strategic food storage is a must for this wily girl. The medication for her seizures runs about $30 per month currently. She needs to be in a home with another dog for stability and confidence, and because of her special needs, her forever home should be without a pool or other body of water that she could fall into. When supervised she enjoys a swim. She's a fun, easy going girl who is fine to hang out with you, go for a hike or car ride. She's really game for anything.
