My story

How can you resist this gentle couch potato cream puff? Chayton’s size is closer to a Boxer and his personality is closer to an English Bulldog. Mild mannered, laid back, and affectionate. He is quiet, but will alert when needed. He will also bark to let you know he needs to go potty. His speed is that of a slow trotter instead of a runner. Chayton loves food and rubber Kong toys! Given his size, he is extremely easy to handle. Chayton is good with kids and other dogs.

Funny thing he does: When he is playing with his canine foster brothers and sisters, he can be seen slowly jogging behind them when they play chase. (They could probably lap him twice…). It is adorable to watch as he wants to engage, but just can’t keep up with dogs that can run really fast.

Most endearing qualities: Very affectionate and loving. Loves getting attention and belly rubs.

Skills: House broken, Crate trained, Leash trained, Kennel, Sit, Down, Heel, Rollover.

Why adoption is a great option

Chayton, a Owasso Boxer/American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/American Bulldog for sale in Owasso, or seeking a Boxer/American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Owasso.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Owasso already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Owasso breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/American Bulldog breeders who help with Boxer/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Owasso paves the way for another one to be saved.
