Rescued from the same puppy mill, when Alan first arrived at the halfway home, he was nervous and scared. After having been used and abused by human beings, he is scared of people and do not trust us. But he has slowly come out of his shell and will approach someone if he is curious enough. He will at times allow people to touch him or hug him, or even let people give him a kiss.

He will now run around with Wilson, bark freely and happily, showing everyone his innocent and playful side. Sometimes, he will stare at halfway home mom with so much affection in his eyes, he is a very sweet boy. His favorite thing to do after running for a while is to lay flat on his stomach and munch on snacks and dental sticks. He is always curious about toys and shows great interest in them.
It does take Alan two to three days for him to warm up to a complete stranger. It may also take seven to ten days for him to feel completely comfortable with a new place or new people.

He is also house trained and goes outdoors. For the new adopting family, please give Alan time to adjust and shower him with love, help him to get to know everyone and once he is familiar with his surroundings, he will not be as nervous anymore and he will transform to a sweet little boy with so much love and he will bring much joy to the new family.
If you would like to be Alan's new family, please fill out the adoption form or message me with any questions you may have. We hope to find the loving home he so deserves and we wish Alan all the best in his new home.
