Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Leo! He was found as a stray on the streets of Houston. He had no hair and was starving. We brought him to our rescue while we searched for an owner. Once we realized that no one was going to claim him, we began treating his skin condition and got him on the road to recovery. Since we've had him, he's gotten an "almost full" coat of fur back and has gained weight! Once his fur started growing back, we realized he was a wire-haired breed and had the cutest mohawk on his head and face!
Leo is very playful and gets along great with other dogs! He loves human attention and romping around in the yard with other dogs. He is very food motivated and has learned how to sit for treats. Leo would do very well in any type of family and deserves a loving home of his own.
Leo is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
If you are interested in Leo, please contact Amanda or Robert with Happy Landings Animal Rescue. Our adoption process includes an application, a meeting/play date with your future fur baby, a brief home visit, and an adoption fee. Our adoption fees are in place to offset veterinary costs (spaying, neutering, vaccines, deworming, and microchipping) and to ensure our dogs will not be used for dog fighting or any other malicious purposes.
