My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dude best qualities are is very loyal and loving personality. He loves people and is very eager to please. Dude came to us with a very unusual injury.... he was missing half of his back right foot. We believe he may have gotten it caught in a coyote trap (not the humane kind). Due to the severity of his injury our only option was to have surgery to remove his leg.

So now he's a what we call a tri-paw. He has full mobility and it's not slowed him down one bit. His nick named is Pogo because he can jump and bounce up and down on his hind leg like a pogo stick.

Dude is only about 1 yr old so he still has a lot of "puppy" in him. He has went through training to learn how to be a good boy. He knows sit, lay down, stay and leave it. He doesn't always follow commands but we continue to work with him as as time goes on he will get better. His training at Meadow Brooke Kennel in Knoxville includes 1 yr of free training sessions that transfer to adopters. So if he needs to brush up on skills it's no charge.

Dude is neutered, up to date on vaccines and has a clean bill of health. Now all he needs is a forever home. If you're interested in adoption him please email scloveofpawstn@hotmail.com or download the application on our website www.4theloveofpaws.org. Adoption fee $150
