Hi, my name is Sally and I am a healthy, 9 year-old, 13”, 25 lb., tri-color beagle. I am house trained, use the doggy door, and have no destructive behaviors inside or outside. I love going for short walks and am friendly to the people and dogs I meet along the way, I am microchipped, spayed and current on my shots. I’m good with kids of all ages and cats. I have been debarked, but I still have a soft, low bark that I seldom use. I ride well in the car. I love hanging out at the park and socializing with the other dogs and people. I am always hoping for a belly rub, and I will lie on my back every time someone is close in the hopes that they will rub my chest and tummy.
I am a sweet, gentle and loving dog. However, a home where I am either an only dog or one in which I have a male canine companion will be best. I will be happiest in a home with a stay-at-home person or a family with a flexible schedule. A home with a retired person or couple would be ideal.
