Yvette is a very sweet cat. She is shy and timid at first but actually once she lets her guard down adores affection and being pet. Will need someone that understands what it means to be shy and the reward will be great! Once you capture Yvette's heart her purr is infectious and you can just feel her appreciation and love. Give this girl a chance and you will not be disappointed. A home that is not grand central station would be the best fit. Yvette likes other cats and seems to get along well. Our adoption fees:
Cats range from $150 to $175. Exotic breeds may be more.
Dogs range from $250 to $350. High demand puppies and small dogs may be more.
This fee includes: felv/fiv/heartworm testing, worming, flea and ear mite treatments, age appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, rabies vaccination, lab work, dental or other medical or surgical treatments as deemed necessary by our team of veterinarians and also a microchip with free registration.
The adoption process includes an interview, application, adoption contract, which includes a return obligation if adopter is needing to rehome pet. The adoption process may include a home visit.

St. Louis Pet Rescue is a non-profit rescue group focusing on saving pets from local animal control facilities and other neglect situations.
We do not have a facility. All of the pets we rescue are in loving foster homes. Foster homes provide love, care training, and, if needed, rehabilitation to the pets. This also allows the pet to be more adjusted when they enter their forever home since they are used to a home environment (versus a kennel at the pound).
