My story

Yvette is a very sweet cat. She is shy and timid at first but actually once she lets her guard down adores affection and being pet. Will need someone that understands what it means to be shy and the reward will be great! Once you capture Yvette's heart her purr is infectious and you can just feel her appreciation and love. Give this girl a chance and you will not be disappointed. A home that is not grand central station would be the best fit. Yvette likes other cats and seems to get along well. She is a cats cat and has shown that she would like to have another cat in her adoptive home.(Yvette does have a best friend in her foster home, Gumdrop). If you have any questions or would like to meet this pet, please email contact@stlpetrescue.com. Information about the rescue and adoption process can also be found at stlpetrescue.com along with a full listing of our adoptable pets.

More about this rescue

St. Louis Pet Rescue is a non-profit rescue group focusing on saving pets from local animal control facilities and other neglect situations.

We do not have a facility. All of the pets we rescue are in loving foster homes. Foster homes provide love, care training, and, if needed, rehabilitation to the pets. This also allows the pet to be more adjusted when they enter their forever home since they are used to a home environment (versus a kennel at the pound).
