My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cameron did not have a great start in life as he was born on a property which was full of trash, had many dogs and barely any human interaction. He and his siblings were deemed feral. The owners of the property were forced to surrender the dogs to our county shelter due to a neighbor filing a complaint.

The dogs were unable to thrive in the shelter setting and set to be euthanized. As a volunteer of the shelter I offered to foster Cameron. Thankfully others stepped up and all siblings were saved.

With a lot of patience and love I gained Cameron’s trust and quickly became his “person.” He is such a special dog and quite honestly one of the easiest fosters I’ve ever had. He is 100% house broken, does not need to be crated and has never once been destructive. He is affectionate and his tail is always wagging. He is dog and cat friendly.
Cameron is still and most likely will always be fearful of new people and new situations. He is fine with my children ages 7 and 10 but I wouldn’t place him in a home with children younger than 15. He is not interested in being a kids best friend but he will most definitely be your best companion given the opportunity.
