What is your name? My name is Waffles! Just like your favorite breakfast food.
How old are you? I'm about 3 years old.
What do you look like? My coat is a gorgeous blend of red and black. I have a blocky head, a squishy face, kind eyes, and on many occasions my tongue will be sticking out.
What do you like to eat? Just about anything I can get my chubby little paws onto, but I’ve been on a diet recently.
What kind of personality do you have? I am first and foremost a cuddle monster.
There’s nothing I love more than being squished up with my people and foster siblings. I love chewing on a bone but toys aren’t my favorite. I’ve never met a stranger I didn’t like, but I always let my people know if there’s a weird noise outside.
What is your favorite toy? I’m more of a bone loving doggo.
Do you know any tricks? Does sit count as a trick?
Do you like cats? I’ve never lived with a cat but I did sniff one at the vet.
Do you have any doggie best friends? Yes! I love 4 other girl dogs and I love playing and snuggling with them. I’ve always previously lived with a male and loved him too.
If you could be anywhere in the world, where would it be? On the couch snuggled up next to my people.
How is your health? I'm on a diet but overall my health is good.
Who do you live with in your foster home and who is your closest companion? I live with 2 humans and 4 dog friends. I love all of them!
Where do you hang out when you are home alone? I happily nap in my crate when I’m home alone.
What do you love about your foster family? I get lots of cuddles and I always have someone to play with or a bone to chew on.
What was life like before you were rescued by Even Chance and brought into the welcoming arms of your foster parents? I had a rough start to life. I came from a hoarding situation and had multiple litters of puppies.
Even Chance does not operate on a first come, first serve basis. In most cases we have already decided the type of home and owner we want for our dogs. These opinions are based on the temperament tests we perform prior to accepting the dog into our program and the behaviors the dogs display as they grow up. Our agency reserves the right to deny acceptance of any dog to an owner who we feel the lifestyle does not match that of the dog. We are in no way judging you or your lifestyle; we simply want to put our dogs in the best living situation possible. We take very seriously the decision we make when it comes to placing one of our dogs in a forever home.
