My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET PRINCESS. Princess is in adorable little 9 year old yorkie who weighs 7 lbs. Princess is being fostered in Miami, FL. Princess is available for adoption only to Florida residents.

UPDATED BIO 02/15/2020: Little Princess' life has completely turned around since she arrived in UYR 2-1/2 months ago. She is in perfect health, eating well and has fully adjusted to her foster home. Princess is not fond of walking on a leash, and she prefers shorter more frequent walks to enjoy the outdoors. She is, however, very active and enjoys running after lizards, birds and sniffing new surroundings when she is in a fenced-in yard, so it would be a bonus if her forever home had a fenced-in yard.

Princess likes to follow her human companion everywhere. This spoiled little girl is ready to go out for a car ride whenever she hears the sound of keys. Having said this, she tends to be a runner if she feels left behind. She always wants to be with her person. On a safer note, Princess wants to jump off the bed or the sofa to follow her foster mom. She is a petite little girl and needs to be put down on the floor to avoid injuries - always.

One thing that had not changed is her love for humans and meeting new people. Oh, and the fact that she would prefer a quiet home with mellow folks who love to listen to light relaxing music. Hey, this little girlie has culture! Princess continues to be not so fond of other dogs when they try to socialize with her, so she needs to be an only dog in her adoptive home so that she can bask in all the attention. She loves cuddling in bed, belly rubs, interacting with her foster mom and playing with squeaky toys. Princess is a beautiful, gentle, happy little girl full of joy and love who is looking for that some lucky human(s) to share it with.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

- Due to Princess's small size, she can only be adopted into an adult-only home.

- A home with at least one stay-at-home parent would be optimum as she loves being with her person all the time.

- Princess needs to be the only dog in her adoptive home.

UPDATED BIO 01/16/2020: Great news keeps coming for Princess. She saw the vet yesterday and received her updated vaccinations and she is doing really well and is ready for her forever home. Hooray!

Princess adjusted well to her foster home and will bond quickly to her forever home as well. She is a very sweet and happy little girl. BONUS! Princess is totally house-trained and has a very hearty appetite. She loves to play, go on short walks and definitely loves belly rubs, as well as bathing in the morning sun. Princess is quite cultured and enjoys listening to light relaxing music. She does not like loud sounds or voices. She is quite the classy little lady who will bring so much joy to her forever parents,

One thing that Princess does not like is other dogs, which appear to stress her out, so she really needs a home where she is the one and only dog she does okay with kitty cats however. Princess foster mom believes that she needs a home where there is at least one stay-at-home (or work-from-home) parent since she adores being cuddled and held a lot. She is always willing to give kisses and affection and will be such a loyal and loving companion to the right home.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to Princess small size, she can only be adopted into an adult-only home with no other dogs.
