My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Amara and my foster mama says I'm about 3-4 months old based on my nice sharp pointy baby teeth.  A volunteer saw me get dumped out of a car on the Navajo Reservation and thankfully they picked me up and got me to people who would never do such things to a puppy!  I am a little shy when I first meet people--sometimes I bark to keep them away from me, but my foster mama says I shouldn't do that because most people are nice. It seems like she might be right, but I'm still figuring it out.  Once I warm up, I am a ball of energy!  I love playing with toys and throwing them around. Sometimes I play fetch with my foster family. I live with two big humans and one smaller puppy human, a big foster brother dog, and my very favorite foster brother kitty. I love the kitty because we are about the same size and he will wrestle with me!! So if you have a kitty that wants dogs to stay away--I might not be a good fit because I love kitties. I try to play with my foster brother dog, too, but he's not very fun.  I would love if you had a fun dog sibling for me to play with!!  Foster mama thinks I'm a mix of something called a heeler and something called a shepard--I don't know. Anyway, I'd love a home of my very own. I'm getting to go somewhere called a vet on January 27 to get spayed?? I don't know what that is, but I hope its not too scary. Anyway, after that I'll be ready to go to your home!  Oh yea mama says I should tell you that I'm learning about where to "do my business", but I'm not quite there yet. I know what to do when she says "sit" and "wait" for my dinner though! If you want to meet me, contact my foster mama Marguerite at littlerita2@gmail.com.
