My story

All Adoptions are By Appointment Only for Pre-Approved Applicants
* If interested in meeting any of our cats, You Must Submit an Adoption Questionnaire

Misty is a sweet and friendly girl who came to us from a good samaritan. She likes to be petted, brushed, and spend time with people. She lived in a home with other cats and got along well. We think she will thrive in a home on the quieter side where she has another kitty friend.

Misty is still a bit playful and loves to watch "cat TV" videos especially with mice. She had a dental in January 2020 and is more than ready to head home.

Why adoption is a great option

Misty - Read my story below, a Norwalk Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
