My name is Dottie. I am a 34 lb. Red Heeler/Spaniel mix. I am full grown so I will not get any bigger. My approximate birthday is Aug 16, 2017. I am completely house trained. I am not crated anymore because I do so well when I am loose in the house. I have my favorite chair and that is where I sleep during the day when it's time for me to take a nap and I also sleep there at night. I walk well on a leash and enjoy going for walks. I'm a quick learner and a very good listener. I like to make my humans happy so I follow commands well. I do best when provided with stimulating toys to keep me busy. I love my Kong and activity ball. I need a home with no large dogs, no cats, and considerate children over 8 years old. Some good activities for me are walks, hikes, going out to eat at pet friendly establishments or other fun activities you enjoy doing. No apartments, please. I need a home with a wooden fully fenced backyard. If you're interested in a loving companion and a good girl I could possibly be a good fit for your family.
Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit will be required prior to Dottie going to any home. Adoption fee for Dottie is $175.
