My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I’m not exactly sure what to write about Tinsel because she is sort of the perfect dog. I’m being serious. We believe she is a silver lab mix. I asked the opinion of two silver lab breeders and they both strongly felt she was full half. She is young, about a year old so she has a few bad habits. She likes to chew on things. She inspects the counter now and then. But for real, that’s about it. She’s house trained (she had a few accidents in the beginning when she didn’t have access to outside), she has an AMAZING temperament. She loves everyone she meets. She doesn’t jump up, she isn’t overly in your face, if you take her out front off leash she stays right by your side. Tinsel is great in the car and has recently started jumping in on her own. I took her to my son’s baseball and she was perfect. The video is of her off leash at the baseball park. She is also amazing with other dogs. She is the kind of dog you would use to temperament test other questionable dogs. She loves to play with them and will tug o war with her dog friends. Tinsel has a lab personality, and is a goofy girl. She is a bit clingy and likes to sleep on your feet when you are sitting, but she’s had a pretty rough life so far. Tinsel found herself at animal services and needed two surgeries (entropian eye and ACL). She has had the eye surgery and is now in need of the ACL surgery. We would love to find a foster to adopt situation so she can recover with her new family. Surgery is provided by the rescue, of course. Tinsel is, without a doubt, the perfect family dog. There isn’t one ounce of aggression in her and she is very submissive to both humans and other dogs. I seriously love her.
