Meet this sweet boy, Bruno! Bruno is a 2 year old Boxer/maybe Plott Hound mix ready for his new leash on life. Unfortunately, his previous owners could no longer keep due their allergies. So, this precious boy is ready for his furr-ever loving family to adopt him! Bruno is so sweet, goofy, and very treat motivated! He loves any kind of treats! From jerky to soft to crunchy.. anything! Bruno is a little weird about unfamiliar people touching his face, I mean, me too! So we just ask to go slow with him and once he gets familiarized with you, he shows you how sweet and loving he really is! Bruno knows "sit and shake" when he feels like it! We're not sure how he is with other dogs, so if you do have any dogs currently in your home, we ask for you to bring them up and to do a meet and greet with Bruno before adopting; just in case! He likes to go exploring outside, and chases after tennis balls, he just doesn't always bring them back! Bruno was house trained in his previous home, but with entering a new home, he will need some time to adjust to a new potty schedule. He has done great with the shelters potty routine and shouldn't have a problem catching onto another one! Bruno is current on his vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. Sadly, he did test positive for heartworms; but don't let that stop you from taking this handsome young fella home with you, his heartworm treatment is covered by his adoption fee. Come stop by and check Bruno out at the Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook; Bruno is eager to come home with you; we're open everyday from 12-6 p.m.
