Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mia is a beautiful long-haired cat who looks like a watercolor painting. She has a gentle and sweet temperament and loves nothing more than loafing on the carpet where she feels most secure. During the day you can find her curled up in her favorite cat bed or on some blankets in the sun. Don't be fooled, she also loves to play! She is very partial to little mice that make sounds when they move. If you twirl it around her, she goes immediately into huntress mode.
She is still getting warmed up to her new foster home since she had been in the same house for 8 years previously, but she is making great strides and has already had several purring sessions on her foster mom's chest. Mia is not a lap cat (yet) but she will hop on the couch for some belly rubs when she deems you worthy!
Mia is in great shape for her 10 1/2 years (look at those sparkling eyes!) and is on a special combination of wet/dry food that works well in managing her pancreatitis and IBD (inflammatory bowel disease), both a little more common in older cats. She has medicine mixed in with her food which she takes with no complaints! To maintain her gorgeous coat she requires weekly brushing, which she absolutely loves. Mia's routine is very easy to learn.
Come meet this sweetheart who will purr her way into your life today!
