Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rusty - Scruffy Terrier Mix - Male - 2 Years - www.twyla.org
If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org
Meet Rusty: This cute little Scruffy Terrier Mix is about 2 years old and as cute as they come. Rusty gets along well with most other dogs, is crate trained and making progress with his house training now that he is neutered. He LOVES toys and balls and get a little possessive over "his precious", but is fairly easily managed. He's not a fan of rain - he says he is too civilized for it. He is super cuddly and will sleep in your arms if you let him. He has the most beautiful eyes. And You will love looking at him. He WILL make you laugh. He is silly! He seems to “fall” off the couch a lot from being a squiggly wiggly monster.
He is fine with older kids, but due to his resource guarding we do not recommend him around younger kids that cannot read his intentions around toys. He walks well on leash and rides nicely in the car.
Rusty is looking for home with or without another dog in it and is medium to low energy, he does like to play in the yard and go for walks.
***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***
